Gotta get used to writing 2009. It's a little strange. I've just finished filling out my new planner and my new calendar (House Calendar ftw) and it seems like time's just going faster and faster. Before I know it I'll be back in school going through another semester. Strange. I managed to get all A's in my last classes, which really surprised me. I was almost certain I was going to get a C or D in design, seeing as how I never did anything. This semester I have Art Appreciation, Web Design, Intro to Multimedia, and Psych 101. I'm excited to start! It'll be another fun semester, I hope. No lugging around a giant portfolio and awkward art bin up and down 2 long flights of stairs and then through a parking garage at night. I'm happy that most of my classes are close to home (one's online, so it IS at home), which limits springtime driving in my car which weighs less than a cheeseburger. Colorado springtime is usually when we get a majority of our snow, so I'm not looking forward to driving in it much. I'm also terrible at driving in the snow.
I'm working on stuff.. slowly. Doing some more minimalist cats, getting some expressions etc. I just finished watching Azumanga Daioh (finally) and am probably going to make a Chiyo's Dad plush in the near future, inspired by my good friend OboeGoddess who's making this adorable Joker plush.
I've been getting the itch to get another tattoo soon. Unfortunately, being broke has its disadvantages. I'm not sure what I want yet, but I have some ideas, a couple I'm still sitting on and one I want to wait until I lose weight enough to let it heal nicely. I know I want to get a pair of fox tails on my lower back (not a furfag, just like Tails a lot), but I kind of also want to get the 8/9 crests from Digimon Adventure somewhere. Thinking as a band around an arm or down somewhere. Not sure yet. I'm also thinking I want to get an anklet done of the tags and crests Friendship and Love resting on my foot and like.. twisted together because I'm a horrible nerd. Still thinking about it, obviously. I need to get my wrist finished first, of course.
Not sure what else to say at this point so.. bye!

Usually things go here. Right now there's not a lot because I'm lazy. I do feel badly for neglecting this page for so long, especially because there are people waiting on me to post things. And I'm sorry for that. I really wish I had an excuse, but... I don't. I do occasionally forget about my own little slice of the internet sometimes, though. I'm not even going to promise to post more crap here in the future. Either I will or I won't, and there's not really a whole lot of use getting people's hopes up.

So I'm pretty terrified right now. It's 5:15 in the morning, I'm wide awake, my eyes hurt, they're puffy, I'm shaking, and I really don't know what to do with myself right now. Typically, I'd suspect drugs, but this is a little different.

Geez. Come tomorrow, I'll have been on here six years. Crazy.
So recently, I've decided that like millions (possibly billions, who knows) of people, out there. I want to succeed in life. Not just have a nice house, nice car, picket fence, all that jazz. I want to do something. Something with my own abilities that will get me recognition, forged from my own two hands and fueled by my passion and imagination! But I realize that the call for people like that may be broad, but the people clawing for those coveted spots in the warm, loving glow of the adoring public, a light so warm, that is comparable to standing ten feet

Happy new year, girl! Glad to hear you aced your courses! That's always good for the soul. I really like the idea of the Digidestined crests for a tattoo. I think it would look neat as an arm band!
