From the Ashes, Circling High

Finally, I get something done. Holy crap.

I've been workin' on this for a while, actually. I've got a photoshop version that I'm still picking away at, but I decided to put a dent in this while the power was out the other day. My cousin actually gave me the idea to use the blues and greens, so thank her for that idea. It actually helped a lot so now you can actually tell where the damn bird is.

I'm really proud of this. It took a long time to do, but I'm very pleased with the result. I may go back and add some more color later, but for now, the bird stays as the bird is. FLAMING CHICKEN!

Now for the technical stuff: inking- Faber Castell black pens. Color- Sharpie, Fine Point. That's right, Fine Point. Do you have ANY idea how painstaking it was to get yellow over a 9x12 sheet of paper with a fine point marker? Yes, ow. Oh well. My own doing, I suppose.
